About Dr. Parvane Rashidi Birgani
Dr. Rashidi is a board-certified family physician based in Plano. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences Faculty of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at the Medical University of Isfahan and a residency in family medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern in Wichita Falls, Texas. With more than 20 years of experience in medicine as a hospitalist, medical consultant, and administrator, she has spent the last decade caring for bariatric patients in the DFW area. Dr. Rashidi also taught medicine as an Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts and has been a mentor to many doctors over the years.

It seems front office messed up my lab work.
After I left their office at 9:00 am I went directly to do my lab work as ordered.
After 4 hours, I received a call from Dr office that I should discard the lab order and have sent new lab order

My appointment was canceled by them with less than 2 hours notice. We rescheduled for 2 days later. They couldn't find the paperwork I filled out on their EMR for the canceled appointment. Then the doctor didn't respect my wishes for my treatment. Instead of letting me make decisions about my care, she wants me to see a specialist. While I appreciate her expressing concern, I'm an adult. I will not be back, nor will I see her recommended specialist.
