Getting to know Dr. Parvin Daneshvar
I'm a Nurse Practitioner, with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Central Florida, a post-graduate certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health, board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and a Master of Public Health. But more than any credential, I'm driven by a genuine belief in total healthcare: mind, body, and soul.
I grew up in Minnesota and went on to serve my country as a U.S. Army medic, a foundation that instilled both precision and purpose. From there, she built a career that has taken her through nearly every corner of clinical medicine, from urgent care and critical care cardiac nursing to endocrinology, home health, pain management, and mental health.
I love learning and growing as healthcare evolves constantly. I stay current with the latest evidence-based research because I believe patients deserve care that reflects what medicine knows today, not what it knew a decade ago.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I have spent my entire life working on healthcare and would like to not just treat one acute issue, but instead treat the whole person, body, mind and soul. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques and also provide Medication Management. At the first visit we will have a conversation about what brought you there, current circumstances, symptoms, and medical history. We will work at your pace to meet your goals.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
This visit is what you make of it. I am not here to push you to do anything you are not ready to do. It is talk therapy, and medication management if and when needed. I follow the latest guidelines and utilize resources to provide the highest quality care possible.
