I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and hold a Doctorate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Rush University. I have experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings with patients across the entire lifespan.
I practice evidence-based care to ensure that every patient has access to the most updated treatment options, using an integrative and holistic approach that addresses the individual as a whole.
I value and understand the importance of building lasting, trusting relationships with my patients. My care is comprehensive, and I enjoy educating patients on treatment options that best fit their unique needs.

I am a medication manager who takes a holistic approach to the patient's problems and wellbeing.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I offer a full and in depth psychiatric assessment for anyone across the life span. I can diagnosis psychiatric concerns and prescribe medication. I do not do therapy sessions.

I was experiencing social anxieties that were affecting my body. Dr Luevano prescribed me with medication that really helped alleviate the feelings of social anxiety. I take them before social gatherings and I’m in the clear.

This was my first psychiatry experience. I had two appointments with her, and was left wondering how she had high reviews. The first appointment she was rushing me, and seemed irritated when I couldn’t explain every aspect of what I was experiencing. I was left feeling like I wasn’t being taken seriously and that what I wanted addressed was being looked over. The medication she prescribed was not beneficial, and in the second appointment she didn’t even ask how one of them worked. I had to stop her before she got off the call and tell her it wasn’t working. The total time of the call was 4 minutes. She was rude, rushed me through, and made me feel stupid for not knowing all the medical terminology. I would not recommend her to anyone, especially a young person looking for their first psychiatrist.
