What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapeutic approach emphasizes the efficacy of psychotropic medications when appropriately integrated with psychotherapy and lifestyle modifications. My objective is to collaborate and develop a patient-centered treatment plan tailored to each individual. I focus on existential therapy, dialectical, motivational interviewing, a holistic approach, and cognitive behavioral therapy in conjunction with medication management.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I do diagnostic assessments that encompass both mental and physical aspects of psychiatric disorders, incorporating physical examinations, psychological evaluations, and talks regarding symptoms, medical history, and familial history while employing the DSM-5. I work with therapists who oversee medication management as they do talk therapy. A typical session includes examinations, with medication management sessions often lasting 15 to 30 minutes after an initial 60-minute evaluation. I assert that cultivating a strong rapport with clients and delivering client-centered care is essential for successful treatment. I like my patients to feel empowered and acknowledged following each session. Predicting a precise trajectory for therapy progression and symptom alleviation sometimes can be challenging since mental health therapy is not invariably a linear process. I collaborate with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to alleviate symptoms and enhance everyday functioning. I emphasize a patient-centered approach, employing evidence-based approaches and customizing treatment regimens to meet individual requirements.
