About Patrick Crandell
Patrick Crandell, PA-C, is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant who was born and raised in the Binghamton area. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Villanova University and went on to obtain his M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). Patrick began his medical career in 2013, practicing Emergency Medicine for five years before joining Southern Tier Dermatology & Aesthetics in 2018.
He is an enthusiastic member of the team, dedicated to providing excellent care for his patients. Patrick prides himself on explaining topics thoroughly and clearly to each and every patient. His interests include skin cancer screening, surgical biopsies, infectious disease, and other common skin ailments. He resides in Binghamton with his wife and their daughter. Outside of work, he enjoys being a parent, athletics, travel, and exploring the culture and cuisine of the Southern Tier.

Patrick Crandell, PA was a great caregiver and listener. He addressed the issues I had with a 4 year scab on head and a couple of other things. Fast and good at explaining things he was doing. I would very much recommend him. The only thing I got frustrated was with the way you input Medical Info was very time consuming. Blue Ipad like device. Would have prefered to to do way ahead as I have a bunch of Script info and procedures that were done over the years. Jessica the Desk Person was helpful but to be able to do this way ahead would have helped. It had wierd question like where you were born and all kinds of question I have never seen before. Like TMI.. Jessica was able to scan my medical summary I brought from my Primary Care office. I would Highly recommend the providers office and Patrick Crandell, PA. Tnx

Dr. Crandell was incredible! I made a same day appointment for some acute issues and he saw me right away as a new patient. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and an extremely concise and clear communicator.
