About Dr. Paul Frake
Dr. Paul Frake is an expertly trained specialist and board-certified in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Frake’s undergraduate study was at Brown University, where he received his Bachelor of Science with Honors in 2004. This was followed by medical school and Otolaryngology residency at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. The pediatric portion of this training there was at Children’s National Medical Center. He began his practice in 2013 in the Minneapolis metropolitan area, where he has been selected as one of the regions ‘Top Doctors’ for both adult and pediatric general otolaryngology. Dr. Frake enjoys treating patients of all ages for all varieties of conditions of the ears, nose, sinuses, throat, head, and neck.
Hyperparathyroidism (parathyroid disease) is one of his favorite conditions to treat, and he has unique high-volume surgical expertise in this field.
Outside of clinical care, Dr. Frake advocates for patients’ interests and has worked to advance the specialty of otolaryngology with ongoing service on numerous committees of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery and previously on the board of the Minnesota Academy of Otolaryngology.

Seeing Dr.Frake was probably my best doctor appointment I've ever had.. and there have been many. He easily identified that I actually need a neurologist but was SO informative on medications I was taking..why I am feeling the way I am feeling and the neurological disorder i am most likely suffering from that I finally feel there is hope and I know what to address now. I learned more in 10 minutes talking with him than I have over the last 10 years of doctors visits. Kinda sad he can't be my neurologist but so happy I was able to meet with him. If you need an ENT, choose Dr.Frake. You won't be disappointed.

The entire experience was seamless. I set up an appointment Friday, got a follow-up call Saturday with an email sent containing instructions, and was seen right on time the following Monday. After 20+ years with same ENT I decided it was time to get a fresh perspective on my hearing situation. Only problem is that Becker ENT is not part of BC/BS Horizon Insurance. So that may become an issue. Otherwise, really recommend Dr. Frake!
