I have been in practice as a Clinical Psychologist in NYS since 1987. Since then, I completed my Post-Graduate Neuropsychology Certificate and trained at the Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC. Subsequently, I became a Certified Practitioner in Heart Rate Variability Biofeedback from the Heart Math Institute. As a Neuropsychologist, I am particularly interested in working with patients experiencing memory and other cognitive changes. In addition to performing Neuropsychological Evaluations, I am experienced in training patients to use Heart Rate Variability Biofeedback interventions which have helped patients with stress and anxiety. Recent research published by the National Institute of Health.gov indicates that this approach may help remove Amyloid proteins implicated in Alzheimer's Disease. I am Board Certified in Neurofeedback by BCIA and hold Senior Fellow Status.
