About Dr. Peter Mancuso

Dr. Peter Mancuso is the founder of NY Foot & Ankle Surgeons. He is the Chief of Podiatry at Southside Hospital part of Northwell Health. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Mancuso is cofounder of the Long Island Wound Healing Association, Optimum Podiatry Group and Island Wound Healing. He is a past President of the Suffolk County Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Mancuso is active in training foot and ankle surgeons and is the on-site Director of Podiatric Residency Training for Northwells Forest Hills Hospital. He lectures around the country on topics such as wound care and surgical technique. Dr. Mancuso is certified in Hyperbaric Oxygen and wound care. Dr. Mancuso completed a podiatric surgical residency in Manhattan and was appointed chief resident. He earned his medical degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He also holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Scranton. Dr. Peter Mancuso was raised in Kings Park and remains active in his Long Island community.
