Hi! I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) graduate from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, where I earned my Master's in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing. I also hold bachelor's degrees from West Coast University and the University of California, Los Angeles. Growing up with stutters has helped me develop empathy for mental health. I am well-versed in multiple disorders such as ADHD, anxiety, and depression. I have experience working with patients of all ages in various settings, addressing complex mental health issues. I am bilingual, speaking Vietnamese and English.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I will establish trust, be a good communicator, and listen to you. I will try to meet your goals and come up with a comprehensive plan to take care of your mental health needs.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I will focus on building rapport with psychotherapy. From there, I will discuss your needs with medication management or other lifestyle choices that can help you become mentally better.

Finally felt understood with my ADHD symptoms. I had providers in the past treat me for anxiety and depression but I truly feel like ADHD is the root of it all. I am so happy to have found Peter. He was able to put into words exactly how I feel as a person with inattentive ADHD. Lately, I’ve had significant difficult refilling my prescription, in part due to the national shortage, AND in part to my previous care providers failing to provide the adequate support or assistance I needed.
