Phaedra Hockman is a board-certified Physician Assistant who earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated Summa cum Laude. She then attended South College in Knoxville, TN where she graduated with her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Phaedra specializes in skin cancer screenings, acne, eczema, and many other dermatologic conditions. She is excited to offer compassionate care to her patients of all ages and is committed to providing patients with education about their conditions and treatments. First time at this office and with Phaedra. Rose was doing intake and she was very kind. It was quick, painless, and easy to understand their explanations about things. They were able to accommodate me asking last minute for a full body skim check even though I went in for a problematic pimple. Was able to do a biopsy then and there very quickly. It’s a bit of an uncomfortable feeling being basically naked in a room and they made it as comfortable as could be.

I would definitely go back and even highly recommend Phaedra. She is an excellent listener and communicator. She makes sure that the patient is well informed and taken cared of. Our skin concern wasn't that complex at all but the approach by Phaedra exceeded our expectations which demonstrates her competency professionalism.

I am so used to going into a doctors office and being gaslit.. Phaedra was so genuinely nice and caring. She didn’t just care about the issue I was having, but also about the root of the issue and why it was happening. She got curious on concerns I had against certain medications instead of being annoyed with me. But most of all, I felt like she LISTENED. I wish she was a primary care provider too, but I’ll take what I can get! She’s amazing.
