About Dr. Pooja Handa

Dr. Pooja Handa is an experienced, board certified family medicine physician. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree in 2008, at Windsor University School of Medicine. Dr. Handa completed residency in Family Medicine at Altru Hospital, in Grand Forks, North Dakota where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Handa obtained diplomate status with the American Board of Family Medicine in 2011 and has been practicing as a dedicated family physician since. She continues to have a passion for family medicine and cares for patients at every age and stage of life.
Dr. Handa believes that knowledge is the foundation for wellness and strives to empower her patients with information regarding their health to promote their wellbeing and fitness. In her free time, Dr. Handa enjoys traveling, fitness, mindfulness, horseback riding and spending time with her friends and family.
