About Dr. Pragadeeswari Dhanasekaran
Dr. Prag Dhanasekaran is a very caring and compassionate Board Certified Pediatric Physician (FAAP) with about 11 years of experience in Pediatrics. She has had a special bond with children since her time at Government Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, India, where she earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. After medical school, she chose to pursue Pediatrics and completed a Diploma in Child Health from Stanley Medical College, Chennai, India. Following her diploma, she practiced in India, caring for children and their families. When she decided to move to the US for further practice, she completed her Pediatric residency at Harlem Hospital Center, New York City, before relocating to Texas to be with her family. Prior to starting her own clinic, she worked in private practice. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed spending time with children and caring for kids with special needs.
Dr. Prag has a loving family with two daughters who always support her. Her husband is her pillar of strength and the reason behind all her achievements to date. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling frequently, watching movies together, playing board games, and has recently taken up gardening as a new hobby.

Great! Very thorough and direct. She genuinely cares about my health. Best experience I’ve had in a long time. I’ve had trouble since August of 2021 trying to find a pcp to accept my insurance. Not only did she welcome me in with open arm, my siblings have an appointment in 2 weeks!

She was a very nice doctor. She made our son super comfortable by chatted with him, and asking him how he was feeling the entire time. They even had the whole family pitching in, and it was extremely clean. Her office was located right up the street. I would highly recommend her services.

Went to Dr Prag for the first time for a sick appointment. She took the time to get to know my sons history. She made sure to explain to my son everything she was going to do before doing it. She spoke directly to him. I was very happy with our visit.

After our pediatrician's office closed with 30 days' notice, we were looking for a new provider for care continuity for our two sons. Dr. Prag has Saturday appointments, which for working parents is an absolutely amazing offering. The care was good and we already have our follow-ups scheduled - via telehealth, which again - amazing.

Dr Dhanasekaran Is the doctor I’ve been looking for my entire four years in Texas. I drove from downtown Dallas to McKinney Texas for her to examine my one year-old son. She’s great with kids, listens to all of my concerns and follow ups after our appointment to make sure my family is doing well.
