Dr. Praveen Natakal Pakeerappa was born in India and obtained his Medical Degree from Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore, India. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)at University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky. PM&R physicians or Physiatrists have special training and skill in treating medical conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons. Praveen Natakal Pakeerappa, MD performs diagnostic imaging, testing, assessment, and treatment of disorders and injuries related to chronic joint pain, spinal injury, athletic injury, traumatic injury, and age-related pain conditions.
Dr. Praveen Pakeerappa has passion and special interest in treatment of acute, chronic and cancer pain management. He has completed fellowship in Hospice Palliative Medicine at Texas Tech University from Lubbock, Texas and fellowship in Interventional Pain Management from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. He moved to Arizona to be closer to his family and friends. He served as attending physician in pain management and also as Hospice Medical director in Arkansas with over 10 years of patient care experience.
