What is your typical process for working with clients?
After you request your appointment, you will be sent an invite link for Brightside Health. You will need to enter your insurance and payment information to confirm your appointment.During your initial consultation we will craft a treatment plan personalized to your needs, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed. You will also be able message me directly at anytime via the messaging section of your Brightside Health portal - a tool where will also track your progress, access resources, and see your treatment plan details.*Please note: If you are looking for ADHD care, I do not prescribe controlled medications like Adderall or Ritalin. However, we can support you with therapy and other medications commonly used in ADHD treatment, such as Strattera and Intuniv.*

I was really looking forward to my appointment with Precious today at 12:30 PM via Zoom. I logged in 5 minutes early and waited for over 10 minutes, but the therapist never showed up. I contacted Brightspace, and even they were surprised, saying providers rarely miss appointments. They immediately tried reaching out to her, but as of now—three hours later—I still haven’t received any communication or explanation. It’s extremely disappointing and unprofessional, especially given that I was genuinely looking forward to meeting with her based on the many positive reviews and her 5-star rating. I understand that things happen, but a complete lack of communication is unacceptable, especially in a professional setting like therapy. I hope this was a rare oversight, but unfortunately, it’s left a bad first impression.
