Though sometimes the wait to see the doctor could be quite long, it was always well worth the wait. Dr. Deol always took his time with me and never rushed through appointments and took time to answer questions. He was professional, friendly and had wonderful bedside manner (and a great sense of humor too!). He did offer non-surgical treatment options for me first, however, after years of suffering I was ready for surgery to get the problem remedied. He performed a bunion repair and hammertoe correction surgery on my foot at the end of October and by the start of February my foot is better than ever and I'm back to 99% of my activities, just not quite ready for running yet. The surgery and recovery was smooth and he was wonderful explaining things to me every step of the way - before, during and after. I highly recommend Dr. Deol!

I think overall Dr. Deol is a fantastic doctor. He knows exactly what he's doing and is good at what he does. Very knowledgeable about all the post operation questions. The only issue I have had with Dr. Deol is his help with pain management has been poor. I have been in a lot of pain most of this post operation, even now, and have had little to no help getting proper medication to deal with the pain. I have had to resort to my primary care doctor for help with the pain so I am able to get sleep. His assistants and staff are very helpful. The lady who does the casts (can't remember her name,) was easily the best part of the appointment. Wonderful, humorous, very friendly, and all around fun to be around.

Premjit (Pete) S. Deol, DO is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in injuries and disorders of the foot and ankle. Dr. Deol was raised in the northern Chicago area and received his bachelor's degree at Macalester College in Minnesota. He earned his medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine at A.T. Still University in Missouri. Upon completion of his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at South Pointe Hospital/Cleveland Clinic Health System in Ohio, he then went on to complete a fellowship in Foot & Ankle Reconstruction with the Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Center and The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Deol's primary focus is on sports injuries, arthroscopy, cartilage disorders/arthritis, total ankle replacement, bunion correction and complex fractures and reconstruction of the foot and the ankle. He maintains an active interest in general orthopedics and fracture care with on-call trauma responsibilities. Despite a busy office and operative schedule, Dr. Deol still finds time to maintain active involvement in teaching residents and other orthopedic surgeons, leading the Panorama Orthopedics Outcomes Department, having an active role in local and national orthopedic organizations and pursuing clinical research.
Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Deol enjoys mountain biking, skiing, photography and spending time with his German Shepherd, Wrigley.
