The doctor was really nice however her assistant seemed like she didn’t really know what she was doing and the communication between back and front office were a little off when I got upfront the girls were ready to dismiss me while the doc wanted me to get my blood drawn I had to ask the front desk to reassure themselves because I knew the doc wanted me to get my blood drawn but overall experience it was okay I’ll only be going back because at this point I don’t want to keep switching pcp’s.

Clearly very knowledgeable and professional. Gave me options on my treatment that I've never known about before. Would have appreciated a more friendly greeting, but I'm looking for a good doctor, not a best friend - I think I found one. I think Dr. Nikou and I will get along great.

Dr. Proshat Nikou is a mindful and dedicated family physician in Silver Spring, MD. She obtained her medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine. She completed her internship in physical medicine and rehabilitation at New York Methodist Hospital. She completed her first residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the State University of New York, Upstate Medical University and her second residency in family medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center. She also holds a bachelor’s degree from Towson University.

The office is very easy to find with a lot of parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful in assisting me. The wait was kind of long but Dr. Nikou spent a good amount of time addressing my concerns and gave me good advice.
