Caring for the people of New York, NY, Rachel Harvest works as a dietitian and nutritionist, seeing patients for a host of reasons to include but not limited to digestive disorders, weight management, malnutrition and eating disorder counseling. She understands the needs of her patients and treats every person as an individual, compassionately, respectfully and with the attention they deserve. Ms. Harvest advances her training by completing a Masters Of Science in Clinical Nutrition at NYU in 2013. She is trained and certified to implement cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and mindfulness skills as well as coaching, training and development techniques. She has been appointed director of nutrition for one of manhattan’s most renowned gastroenterology practices and has partnered with many other practitioners and health programs. Ms. Harvest takes genuinely interest in furthering her skills and providing the most up-to-date and effective treatment available. She is a caring provider who takes the time to listen and understand all aspects of her patients’ well-being, concerns, lifestyle and needs.

Rachel was awesome! Very informative and helped me understand things about my diet, I was unsure, as well concerned about.She ask all the right questions and makes it easy for you to understand the importance of your gut health. She answers all of your questions, doesn't make you feel rushed and keeps it as simple as possible to take the right steps to a better you! I would highly recommend her to anyone.

She was amazing and EXTREMELY informative. Right off the bat she was helping me assess my nutrition plan. She was very easy to talk to and was able to answer every question I had. Very knowledgeable and a pleasant personality.

Based on my responses, Rachel Harvest recommended what may work for ME! She recommended a 21 day meal plan with delicious recipes. In addition I continued to stay active. By the second week, I felt more energized. By week 3, my family noticed a difference in my physique!!

I have not been to a nutritionist and did not know what to expect. Rachel Harvest made me feel extremely comfortable. She allowed me to explain me eating habits and was not judgmental (although i'm sure she would have been right to be) gave me tips going forward, and her email in case I had any questions. Highly recommend!!
