About Rachel Levine
Rachel Levine, NP-C, grew up in Queens, NY, and currently lives in Nassau County. Ever since she was young, Rachel knew she would be in the medical field caring for patients. After earning her RN degree at Queensborough Community College in 2004, she began working at Long Island Jewish Medical Center on a medical-surgical floor. After two years, she transferred to the Labor and Delivery unit, where she worked with thousands of laboring women over the next 10 years. During this time, she also supported, advocated for, and educated both patients and their families. While working as a Labor and Delivery nurse, Rachel concurrently earned her Nurse Practitioner degree. In 2013, she returned to the State University of New York at Stony Brook to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.
Rachel developed a respect for the doctors in our practice during her time at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She then spent a few years as a community health Nurse Practitioner, educating adults across the lifespan. Now, Rachel is excited to return to her passion for women's health. She looks forward to focusing her efforts on patient care and building long-lasting relationships with her patients.
