Dr. Raffaele Borriello, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a highly accomplished general surgeon with over 30 years of experience specializing in complex abdominal surgeries, including liver, colon, and hernia surgeries, as well as breast surgery. Proficient in both robotic and laparoscopic techniques, he has served in leadership roles at NYP-Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and Long Island College Hospital. A dedicated surgical educator, he has been honored multiple times as Surgical Educator of the Year and recognized with awards such as the Warren Weitzel Educator of the Year and the Downstate Resident & Alumni Society Educator of the Year, reflecting his enduring commitment to clinical excellence and training the next generation of surgeons. Yes I would recommend this Dr. anytime this Dr was on point get right to matter was not too quick to diagnose things that are not there, nothing made up to get the insurance money or give unwanted medication but suggested other options then work from there.

Dr. Borriello is a first-rate surgeon and amazing human. Excellent bedside manner. I went in for a small surgical procedure and the whole process could not have been better. The entire medical team was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. What was even better was that I had zero pain after the procedure. The wait was very short & the doctor came in right after I was seated. He was friendly, personable & helpful. It was a really simple & pleasant experience.
