Enjoyed Dr. Patel’s candor and approach. He spoke and explained things in normal language making the information, which there was a lot of, easy to digest. Mostly, I appreciated how he viewed surgery as a last resort for my condition and guidance to try non-surgical methods first. Office parking is expensive. Expect to pay at least $15 for a short visit with no parking validation.
Waited for too long but doctor was great. Filled in all forms online but staff couldn't find so I had to do that again, which was annoying.
Dr. Rajan was rushed, condescending, and quick to prescribe extreme solutions to an injury that turned out to be minor. When my injury didn't recover in the way he expected, he blamed me for not following his instructions carefully enough, however, I believe they were very unclear. I told him word-for-word what he asked me to do, and he still blamed me for his own mistake. On one visit I spent 1.5 to 2 hours in his waiting room, followed by another 30 minutes alone in an examination room, which is absurd considering that when I finally saw him, he only gave me 3-5 minutes of his time.
Nothing short of an insurance scam, I was charged for a surgery that wasn't performed. Highly recommend seeking help elsewhere.
Rather annoying for a practice not to validate parking in this neighborhood, especially when you are also kept waiting!
I waited forever to see him. He rushed me through. Forgot to prescribe one of my medications and never came back. Had his nurse try to find him but he was too busy.
I would not recommend Dr. Patel at all. When I showed up the receptionist was not helpful, I am on crutches and was just handed paperwork to fill out that then had to hobble to the chair to fill out not one offer of help. I waited for about an hour and half before I was even take back to an exam room. Dr. Patel rushed through what he thought I had after looking at my x-rays for about 5 minutes and not even bothering to take off the boot that the emergency care gave me. He then preceded to tell me that he does not treat these injuries though he was not sure if that is what I had without a CT and that surgery would be necessary and just walked out. The one good thing was he got me in to see a doctor a cedars.
I will definitely be going back soon!
The office was elegant, and everyone there was extremely helpful. Dr Patel has an incredible bedside manner. His examination was thourough, extremely professional, and made me feel comfortaable and thorougly confident in the diagnosis and treatment. I would highly recommend Dr. Rajan Patel. Rodney R
Great visit! Quickly narrowed down what might be the issue with my knee to a couple of things. Next step - MRI. Next step - treatment if needed. Very clear.
I've been suffering from back pain for nearly two decades, and Dr. Patel was the first doctor to give me an actual diagnosis and treatment plan rather than throw pain meds at me. He took the time to get to know me and my issues, and was not condescending or rushed like many doctors. The wait time was a little longer than I expected, but it was worth the wait. Highly, highly recommend.
Everyone in this office had a smile on their face. It was a wonderful experience and Dr. Patel went above and beyond to explain what is going on with my condition. He gave me several option and suggestions. I would recommend him to anyone.
they did not have any of my info. (that i had filled out on line) and didn't have me on the main schedule - asked if i was from zocdoc and were very blah about it. i waited over an hour - the dr. was nice and the whole appt. was about 15 minutes. i think 3 or 4 people also came in for an appt. with dr. at the same time i had one. they all were seen first. he is a good dr. and i will go back. hopefully the kinks will work out. disappointed in the fact that none of my info was there and i had to fill it all out again.
I've never written a review online for anyone or anything but I feel I absolutely must. I saw Dr. Patel after suffering serious injuries from a horrible car accident followed by a rather traumatic ER experience; I was released by an incompetent ER of a different hospital with broken bones and contusions and told to call their orthopedic surgeon in a couple days. I called Doctor Patel instead - and I'm so glad I did. He is a fantastic doctor; he was prompt, thorough, thoughtful and sensitive to my specific needs without being touchy-feely or emotional. Very professional. Explained all of my options clearly. He ended up doing major surgery on me two days after our first appointment. He made me feel very relaxed in the O.R. I understood everything and he even made me laugh. MOST IMPORTANTLY, though, he did an impeccable job with the surgery. He fixed my bones, inserted screws and plates and paid real attention to my aesthetic concerns re scarring when cutting me open. He was also very available for follow up. Would HIGHLY recommend him for any and all general orthopedic and orthopedic surgical needs.
Several visits before and after hip replacement surgery. Very professional, imformative and reassuring.
He was great.
Dr. Patel did not take much time to diagnose my issue. He was very quick to let me write me up a prescription and then tell me he will see me again in six weeks. Instead of trying to explain what he thought was wrong he threw a bunch of language I did not know.
We would highly recommend Dr. Patel, the very soothing and beautiful office space and his staff.
Dr. Patel is really personable. The wait time at the office can be a pain (even when you show up early) but he knows what he is talking about and is ontop of his game.
Great doctor. Very knowledgable.
Dr. Patel was very informative and had the one of the best bedside manners of any doctor I've been to. He was thorough in his examination. I felt I was in good hands!
the doctor is terrific the wait was long but i will go back.
Excellent. Would recommend without reservation.
Excellent pofessional. Takes his time to listen to you
Waited for over an hour before a receptionist spoke to me. Meanwhile the office had both an office meeting and an office birthday party. The doctor seemed competent, however, he was short, curt, and rushed. He failed to examine all of the issues I had for seeing the doctor, and failed to adequately explain the relationship between my pain, the treatment, and any secondary or tertiary effects. I will not go back, I will not recomend this office.
Usually I had really short waiting time but this time I waited for close to 2 hours before I could see the good doctor... ridiculous
