His ophthalmology residency was done at MAMC, Irwin & GB Pant,,followed by a fellowship in glaucoma at the Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute of Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. Dr. Bansal has been on staff and on premises at Columbia at the Eye Institute since then.
Dr. Bansal holds the academic title of Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Columbia University, College of Physicians & Surgeons in New York City. In this capacity Dr. Bansal teaches residents and fellows in training. He also lectures at national meetings and has authored articles in peer review journals.
