I am especially focused on reducing morbidity and mortality rates through proper counseling and timely intervention. What I love about my job is the people I meet every day from different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. I learn so much about life from them. As a physician, I am able to help not only by curing diseases but also by being there for someone who needs an ear. My philosophy of care is that prevention is better than cure. I find utmost satisfaction in my work when I am able to prevent the progression of kidney dysfunction by treating underlying chronic conditions like hypertension, diabetes, vasculitis, connective tissue disorders, or other illnesses. I earned my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Andhra Medical College, completed my Residency in Internal Medicine at Wayne State University, Detroit Medical Center, and pursued a Fellowship in Nephrology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. This training has equipped me to provide comprehensive care focused on both treatment and prevention in nephrology.
