“Dr. Nithya and her staff were fantastic. Wait time was less than 15 minutes. Her staff was personal and engaging with my two year old daughter and She absolutely adored the doctor. My 2 yo. typically doesn’t open up to strangers, and Dr. Nithya had her smiling and talking within just a few minutes! You can tell that Dr. Nithya and her staff adore children just by their attitudes, they don’t talk down to the toddlers either, and they don’t ignore mom either. I was very pleased with the questions about her diet, activities, and development, and I left feeling like a good mom and confident in our new pediatrician.”

About Dr. Ramaswamy Nithya
Dr. Nithya is the newest member of our medical team at Katy Memorial Pediatrics. She has been practicing pediatrics for over 15 years.
Dr. Nithya graduated from Government Kilpauk Medical College, earning her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees through the University of Madras in India. She pursued her passion for pediatric medicine by completing her residency training in Pediatrics at the State University of New York, Brooklyn, specifically at SUNY Children’s Medical Center. She became board certified in 1997.
Dr. Nithya enjoys working with children and their families. Her special interests include asthma, preventive care, immunizations, and childhood obesity. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading.
