Getting to know Ramatu Ibrahim

I know taking the first step toward support can feel overwhelming, and I want to make it easier. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I provide a safe and welcoming space where you can feel heard and understood. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood challenges. Together we create a plan that works for you, whether that is medication, therapy, or both. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, focused on helping you feel balanced and empowered.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You do not need to have everything figured out before we start. I will meet you where you are and listen first. I believe in working alongside you instead of just telling you what to do. Clients often share that they feel comfortable opening up with me because I offer a supportive and nonjudgmental space where they feel truly heard and understood.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we take time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you in. From there, we set goals together and create a plan that fits your needs. This may include medication, therapy, or both. In follow-up sessions, we check in on your progress, make adjustments if needed, and celebrate steps forward so you always feel supported and encouraged.
