About Raquel Bertolotti
Raquel Bertolotti, PA-C found a passion for dermatology working as a medical assistant in Denver, CO after completing an undergraduate degree at the University of Denver. She then moved on to earn a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at South College in Nashville, TN.
Since becoming a Certified Physician Assistant, Raquel moved to Rhode Island and continued in her passion of practicing dermatology. She is committed to providing informed and personalized care to each and every patient.
Raquel is licensed to practice in RI and is accredited by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is committed to providing excellent care to keep your skin healthy, and cancer free. She specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of all skin, hair, and nail disorders, and the prevention of skin cancer in all age groups.

They said they couldn’t treat me that day but I should schedule for a day in a week or two and they could help. They sent me to the front desk to schedule on my way out. When I went to the desk to schedule, the person working said she is unable to schedule unless she speaks to her boss. She said they would call me later that day and I never heard from them. Perhaps worst medical experience in recent memory.

The staff was kind and friendly and the doctors were professional and knowledgeable. It seems like this is a busy office (which is a good thing) and I would set some extra time aside in case they’re running late. It was my first appointment there, and i figured i was going to be in and out well within an hour. I had to pick up my child an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment which would’ve left me plenty of time to get her if I’ve been out within an hour. My skin issue was simple, but needed prescription level medication. They were running about 30-45 minutes behind, and i explained to them my situation, and they got me in and out in 5 min and i was able to get to my daughter 5 minutes early like i had hoped. Thank you to all the staff there.

The office was clean and the front desk receptionist was friendly. Raquel the PA took a biopsy on my leg and put a small bandaid over it. When I walked out the door my leg began bleeding profusely and I had to return….there was blood on my pants and even in my shoe. Another nurse cleaned and then bandaged it however Raquel never checked on me again. I was a bit disappointed.

Raquel Bertolotti is the NICEST provider! She is friendly, takes time to answer questions, outgoing, etc! I'll be meeting with her now regularly for yearly checkups (I didn't previously have a dermatologist). Bonus that everyone I interacted with in the office was equally pleasant! Amazing experience. I’m from another state and needed to get in as a new patient quickly. They were quick and kind - only waited 5 min and that is not typical with dermatology in my experience. the nurse practitioner Rachel actually spoke to me and listened more than any doctor I’ve been to for the same issues multiple times over the last few years. She’s trying a different treatment that no one has recommended to me and I truly appreciated how thoughtful she was in making sure she heard me. Highly recommend. Office staff was so friendly and it didn’t feel like they were rushing me out the door like I’ve experienced with doctors back home quite a bit.
