Raquel Watkins, FNP, PMHNP-BC, is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Raised in the culturally rich community of Long Island, New York, Raquel developed a deep appreciation for diversity, which continues to shape her compassionate, culturally sensitive approach to care.
She holds a BS in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a BSN from SUNY Stony Brook, and an MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University. She later earned her Post-Master’s Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health from Liberty University and is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in both specialties.
Raquel has always viewed mental health as essential to overall well-being. Her work is driven by the belief that increasing access to quality care can be life-changing. She is committed to helping individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered as they navigate their mental health journey. Her therapeutic style is rooted in honesty, empathy, and personalized support.
