About Dr. Rasel Rana
Rasel M. Rana, D.O., is a fellowship-trained spine specialist with extensive experience in minimally invasive spine surgery. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Rana completed his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Millcreek Community Hospital, followed by a fellowship in spine surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. As a former U.S. Army orthopedic surgeon, he provides comprehensive musculoskeletal care, including orthopedic trauma, sports medicine, and joint replacement. Dr. Rana holds an academic appointment as clinical assistant professor of orthopedic and spine surgery at Stony Brook School of Medicine. Prior to joining Orlin and Cohen, he served as chief of orthopedic surgery at McDonald Army Medical Center.
