About Dr. Rasha Nimeri
Dr. Rasha Nimeri earned her medical degree in Egypt at Cairo University School of Medicine. She received training in OB/GYN at King Fahad Hospital in Saudi Arabia and a residency in family medicine at New York Medical College in Yonkers, N.Y.
Dr. Nimeri is board certified in primary care and obesity medicine. She treats patients of all ages for a wide range of acute and chronic diseases, including high blood pressure, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, high cholesterol and mental health issues. Her main clinical interests are preventative care and weight management, which she has integrated into her family medicine practice.
Her approach to care is to build strong relationships with patients by active listening, gaining trust and making them feel valued. She places the patient at the center of care, helping them navigate the health system, referring them to specialists and providing a support system for them.
