“I felt heard and genuinely seen and I don’t get to experience that very often in the mental health world. I have an extensive history with my mental health and they made me feel like we are really going to work through some of these issues finally. It was truly lovely.”

Getting to know Rasheedat Koleosho

I am an experienced, board certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner who received my Masters of Nursing on Public Health from Grand Canyon University and post Masters in Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner from Rocky Mountain School of Health Professions.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I provides virtual intake and medication management services at Willow Health. I am committed to holistic, patient centered care and am driven to build strong relationships with patients and their families to provide them with services in order to maximize their potential for positive mental health outcomes. With expertise in psychotropics and evidence-based practices, I possess a strong foundation in psychology and nursing. I take a holistic approach to mental health—addressing not only my patients’ chief concerns, but also considering the physical, emotional, and social factors that influence well-being. I believes in meeting each patient where they are, listening closely, and empowering them to build resilience and cultivate a positive mindset. I am passionate about helping individuals feel heard, valued, and supported on their journey to lasting wellness with tailored treatment plans.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Willow Health provides short term virtual crisis care for individuals in mental health crises. Our team of psychiatrists, therapists, nurse practitioners, and certified peers create personalized care plans, offering 24/7 crisis support during your time in our program. Our services are short term in nature, lasting up to 12 weeks depending on your needs. This means that at the end of your time with us, we’ll make sure you’re connected to ongoing care and support to continue your recovery outside of Willow Health. Getting started is simple. You can schedule an initial assessment as soon as today virtually, from the comfort of your home. Your first meeting will last about 90 minutes. You’ll talk with a therapist and a psychiatrist or psychiatric NP who will help design a treatment plan that works for you. Depending on your needs, your care may include medication management, therapy (including specialized support for thoughts of self harm) and care management. Our Crisis Program is structured as a personalized IOP and includes medication management, multiple sessions of therapy per week, and the option to join up to three group therapy sessions per week. All of this is offered alongside individual recovery coaching with a peer specialist, as well as care management to ensure a smooth transition in treatment upon completion of the program. If this is a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988.

One of the most unprofessional doctors I’ve personally seen. Was very inattentive toward my needs. Our appointment ended with no resolution, and the entire time I felt I was being judged rather than helped.
