About Dr. Ravneet Nagi
Dr. Nagi started Allay Primary Care because of her belief and promise to practice medicine the way it was meant to be practiced—a long-term partnership between physician and patient built on trust, empathy, and personalization. She understands how confusing, stressful, and challenging our modern health care system can be. Dr. Nagi believes in helping her patients achieve long-term health and wellness, not just treating symptoms.
Dr. Nagi completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot, where she developed an interest in family medicine and population health. She completed her family medicine residency at Southside Hospital with Stony Brook University, part of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, where she was awarded Resident of the Year in 2007. In 2016, she completed a fellowship in obesity and weight loss and has a special interest in Type II Diabetes as it relates to obesity and weight management. She also performs in-office procedures such as pap smears, Nexplanon insertion and removal, incision and drainage of abscesses, skin biopsies, and joint injections.
Born and raised in Punjab, India, Dr. Nagi now lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband and two children.
