Dr. Levine is a board-certified neurologist with dual-fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology and Pain Management. He graduated from New York University School of Medicine, completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Yale University and his residency training in Neurology at the University of Southern California, where he also completed his two fellowships. Dr. Levine has published over a dozen peer-reviewed scientific articles and textbook chapters and been interviewed by national publications including TIME Magazine and the Huffington Post. He has served as a medical consultant for a major museum exhibit on the nervous system and as a lecturer at both the college and medical school level. He chose a career in Neurology because of his interest in the interaction between the complexities of the nervous system and the individual person. He believes strongly in a comprehensive approach to pain management, combining multiple treatment modalities to produce maximal benefits. He aims to select the best combination of therapies for each patient, not just treating a disease but also the person who has that particular disease.
