Dr. Hecht completed his internship at Greenwich Hospital, affiliated with Yale University School Of Medicine and residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center. He is board certified by The American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a fellow with the Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The wait was way too long, I also think once I got in it was too rushed. I think it could be a good experience if the wait was reasonable as 2 hours is way too long especially if you have a backache and the doctor needs to give each patient more time. an x-ray was taken but not explained. That being said the doctor is knowledgeable and did help with my problem.

I was shocked to hear the doctor and his staff member having a verbal dispute in regard to my Zocdoc appointment, loud enough for me to hear. It seemed as if someone booked my appointment without the doctor’s knowledge that made him upset.
I was greeted by a gentleman that I believed was the doctor. I asked that gentleman if he was the doctor and then the doctor walked into the room after he heard my question. The said gentleman was also nice and pleasant. Kudos to him.
At first the doctor asked some questions that made me feel as if I was in the wrong place. He also followed up with a statement that made me feel as if he believed I was there for drugs. I had to point out to him that I would do no such thing, due my profession.
The bright side of my visit was the technician that took my x ray. He was friendly and professional. His mannerism took me back down from uncomfortable to okay.
In the end, the doctor attempted to reassure me that they would take good care of me, as I believe my facial expressions probably made him realize that I became super uncomfortable.
The doctor was out the door before I was able to finish my questionnaire on the clipboard he handed to me.
Definitely not the feeling you want to have while visiting a doctor’s office for pain.

This is just an AMAZING place to go to, they have all in one, orthopedic, radiology, physical therapy, nerve testing etc... Every single staff member is so nice, friendly and down to earth. I saw two providers and a radiologist. From the two providers, Dr. Hecht was... a bit eccentric, short tempered and a bit impatient. Thanks to his staff I was able to overlook it. I do suggest this place however.

Doctor just assumed my weight was the issue and then made a cheeky remark implying that I can control the issue with my knee. Did not review my information prior to entering the room. Possibly because he was too busy making sure his birthday dinner reservation was set. Left the room to get the medical receptionist from the front and had her in the room while he proceeded to tell me that my weight was the problem and made sure I knew that he had lost all this weight to prove weight loss was difficult but possible.

Arrived at the office at 3:43 for a 3:45 appointment and, was seen right away. Did not have time to sit down. loved it! X-Ray and scheduled MRI for tomorrow!! Can't wait.

Dr Hecht was very thorough with me and he is very polite. He was an hour and a half late but he was coming from another office and I understood that. He apologizes if he is late.

The Dr. came in 40 minutes late and spoke in a rushed manner. Never gave me eye contact, began checking off referral forms before I finished speaking. There were people seated in the narrow hallway where the exam rooms were. The Dr. did not close the door, I was afforded NO PRIVACY. I had to ask him to close the door. There were at least 20 other patients waiting seated right next to each other, much like a gate at the airport. No Covid protocol observed. The Dr. didn’t speak with me, he spoke at me. He was walking into the next exam room while still speaking at me.
There is no quality patient care provided here. Also this office has a physical therapy space so of course he recommended physical therapy before he examined me. They have an MRI machine in the office. Of course he recommended an MRI. Before he examined me. He simply asked me to stand. It’s obvious I can stand that’s how I got there. There was no true assessment of pain or cause.
I will NEVER RETURN. I will take his referrals to a qualified Dr.

The workers at the reception desk were extremely rude and clearly hated life. The wait time was not bad and no matter how many times I explained things I was treated like a car on an assembly line. This dr was not for me maybe good for you.

Absolutely Disgusting!!! His receptionist were nasty he was was 50x worst then them. He wouldn't let me explain why I was there he rushed me out of his office before properly hearing my issue. He kept saying I'll write you a note. While waiting to be checked out, his other patients heard me talking to the receptionist about his rushing my out, they all said he was nasty to them as well and said the Dr. Told them it's not their turn to speak and he doesn't want to hear from him. I mean they couldn't have been nastier

the office staff was olverwhelmed.For some odd reason the doctors office were in the basement with the only way down was a steep stairwell,scary as hell when your gait is off.To get to it you had to open a heavy glass door into a little breezeway that is so narrow two people cant pass at the same time,causing. the overcrowded lobby to literally step back to wait for yourself to pass .The one good thing was the very pleasant PA.The doctor himself poked in for two minutes,blowing off all questions and then informed me he Wasnt a pain doctor,there wasent one on the office but I needed physical therapy three times a week whick he had just upstairs and handed me a copy pf doctors names he thought did pain management but wasnt sure and didnt know if they took my insurance,I could call around.it felt like a scam and having to pass through the so called PT office with four old machines and twenty people waiting for their turn,I just walked out. The smell of feces from the filthy restroom filled the entire area..Did I meation he never laid hands on me.

The desk was a little unorganized when i got there with paperwork (filled out some forms I didn't need to), but they were very nice and helpful. After about 15 minutes I was taken back by a technician to have X-rays done. I waited for Dr Hecht for about five minutes before he came in. He was very nice and patient. His examination and our conversation was brief but to the point. Great experience

I chose to make an appointment with Dr. Hecht after reading other patients' feedback involving his experience, knowledge, and bedside manner. The office so efficient that even though I was there early because I knew I would be filling out paperwork as a new patient my appointment was completed within 10 minutes. I did not feel rushed and had a conversation with the doctor after reviewing my x-rays that made me feel comfortable addressing all my questions. The office got clearance from insurance company and set up an appointment with another office while they searched for the most immediate appointment that would be conveniently located. I wish every doctor's office and business was run this well. Though it was efficient on time, the entire office cared, including the doctor. He even monitored the status of my insurance approval of the tests for the other office and the appointment being made at the other office.
