Robert Reiss is a Yorktown Heights chiropractor who serves Yorktown Heights and the surrounding communities in NY.
I graduated from New York Chiropractic College with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1985 and began practicing in the Bronx. In 1994, I opened my practice in Yorktown Heights.
My primary goal is to find the cause of pain and give my patients relief as quickly as possible. My services are tailored to each patient to fit their specific needs.
In addition to alleviating pain, my office focuses on more than just treatment. I want my patients to have longer-lasting effects from what I do in the office, so we work on exercises and postural tips for them to do at home.
As we become a more technology-connected society, we see detrimental changes to our posture and spinal health. I am seeing an increase in what is called forward head posture or “text neck.” I spend time on sitting, sleeping, and standing habits as well as posture correction movements and exercises. With chiropractic care, we can prevent these damages and correct them if they have already occurred.
Chiropractic care can be applied as a form of treatment for many different issues. Chiropractic care helps people sleep better, reduce stress, exercise more effectively, and perform better in all aspects of life.

I was called in right away and the doctor was able to figure out what was causing my pain right away. After one adjustment I was already feeling much better. He gave me a printout of exercises as well to help.

Office setting was basic but fine. The exam was super simple, frustratingly didn't illuminate a lot about my condition (even though I know it's possible to go to a chiropractor and learn a lot about my back issue, like another chiropractor offered.) The fact that I'd had the numbness / tingling down my leg for a month should have cued for something more substantial than a standard adjustment. I asked about an MRI and he said that he would only suggest / order one after I've seen him a few weeks and chiropractic isn't working, which I risks me being in pain for a few more weeks, and means they'll get more sessions out of me. The staff there was helpful. The electrode treatment I got before the adjustment felt good, and the adjustment gave me very temporary but welcomed relief.

As all doctors he tries to make you come as much as he can so u continue paying when he can finish in maximum 2 sessions.the pain still the same and I probably benefit a little in first session but jot after that. i dont recommend him . Waste of time

I saw Dr. Bein, a chiropractor. He was friendly, informative, excellent bedside manner, and listened well to what I was saying, answered my questions, and asked pertinent questions regarding my needs. Liked his gentle approach and his thoughtful advice.
Office is a bit unfashionable (could use some updates with furniture and brightening the atmosphere), but everyone was friendly and professional.

My whole experience with Dr. Reiss has been amazing. As someone with bad posture and bad pain on a daily basis, he listened to my concerns and not only gave me relief after one visit but sent me with different exercises to help moving forward. Dr Reiss was kind and concerned for me as I was hunched over with terrible back pain. He relieved the pain in my back and suggested stretching exercises in just two visits -- I stand up straight now. I'll go back as needed until I feel great. I would highly recommend Dr Robert Reiss. :)
