More about Dr. Robert Scott Darrow, MD
Dr. Darrow is one of the original pioneers in Texas for “SCARLESS” minimally invasive surgery for women. Surgery that once required a long abdominal incision or multiple smaller incisions can now, in most cases, be hidden from view allowing women a more PAINFREE experience leading to a quicker recovery. As a member of the clinical teaching staff for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School of Dallas, Dr. Darrow enjoys teaching this technique and other surgical skills to the younger physicians.
Today, Dr. Darrow represents the Dallas County Medical Society as one of its Delegates to the Texas Medical Association. He is a Past President of the Southwestern Gynecological Assembly and a current member of its Executive Board. He is a Board Certified Fellow with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and voluntarily recertifies annually.
A native of Dallas, he attended Hillcrest High School before graduating Phi Beta Kappa in Mathematics from the University of Texas in Austin. While at UT he was honored as a Cactus Goodfellow.
In his free time, Dr Darrow and his wife, Judy, relish in their 4 children, 3 sons in law and 6 grandchildren. He has been active in the Dallas Community volunteering with multiple organizations. He coaches youth baseball and has given private lessons to many of the children he has delivered.
As a Physician, his goal has always been to listen first and treat second.

I was extremely pleased with my visit. The staff was amazing, and the office itself was very clean, nicely decorated. The doctor was very honest, and came across and sincere. I would refer my family to this office/doctor.
