I am a dedicated and caring board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I received my BS and MSN from Columbia University and have nearly 10 of years experience working with clients in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room settings. I provide comprehensive care using an integrated approach of both brief psychotherapy and judicious use of medication. During sessions, one can expect thorough, empathetic, patient-centered care with the ultimate goal of helping people reach their most fulfilled and abundant lives.
In my current practice I primarily work with people seeking treatment for depression, anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, attention deficit/hyper activity disorder, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and sleep disorders among other mental health conditions using evidence based medicine and therapeutic interventions.
I believe in a collaborative approach to treatment. I don't rush. I work carefully and thoughtfully to try to fully understand each individual's specific concerns and needs. Working together, we can decide on a safe and effective treatment plan that makes the most sense and feels most comfortable using evidence based treatment guidelines.

Helpful. Listened intently. With my medical history, we came up with a treatment plan he felt confident with. Was honest about any side effects I might experience and what the next course of action would be if upping my dosage for a specific medication didn't help. Dr. Weston is really patient, and really listens when you speak. He is super honest and helpful, he never makes you feel rushed or like your problems are silly. He is also realistic and won't just prescribe medication for the sake of it. He is the only reason why I go back to that extremely disorganized practice. SohoMD is lucky to have him.

I think Mr Weston is a fine professional, my ultimate issue is the way his services are offered and described here and on my insurance’s web site. I thought I was going to a therapy session and was surprised he is a medication management professional and does not do therapy. I wasted my time and his, and my co-pay, for nothing. But I have no doubt if you are looking for the work he does he is an excellent choice.
