With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I bring a unique and deeply rooted perspective to patient care—combining clinical excellence with firsthand experience across hospital systems, addiction recovery, and community-based mental health. As a PMHNP-BC and past Advanced Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (Adv-CASAC), I specialize in helping clients overcome emotional and behavioral challenges.
My background includes currently delivering direct inpatient psychiatric care in hospital settings, managing acute mental health crises, and coordinating care for individuals with complex psychiatric and medical needs. I’ve worked extensively with: all Substance Use Disorders (Alcohol, Heroin, Benzodiazepines, Cocaine/Crack Cocaine, Ecstasy, Mushrooms, Methamphetamines, Cannabis/K2, Nicotine/Vape, etc.) and provide Medication-Assisted Treatment: Naltrexone, Suboxone, Sublocade, etc.
I specialize in tailoring psychotropic medications to treat psychological disorders including Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder, ADHD, Mood Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, Anger Management, Impulse Control Disorder, Eating Disorders, Sleep Disorder/Insomnia, Grief Therapy, Work/Stress Balance Support and Intergenerational Acculturation Trauma and tailoring Behavioral Interventions for children, teens, LGBTQ+, adults, couples and families.
