About Dr. Roberto Uriel
Dr. Roberto Uriel has cared for South Florida's children for more than 35 years. As founder of South Florida Pediatrics, which he has led for over three decades, he has guided thousands of local families from their baby's very first checkup through the teenage years - and today welcomes the children of patients he once treated as kids themselves.
Dr. Uriel provides complete pediatric care, including newborn and well-child visits, vaccinations, school and sports physicals, and same-day sick visits, with a special focus on the treatment of pediatric allergies and asthma.
He maintains an active affiliation with Nicklaus Children's Hospital, South Florida's only licensed pediatric specialty hospital. Dr. Uriel earned his medical degree at Universidad Central del Este and completed his pediatrics residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
He and his team proudly serve families in English and Spanish from
their office in Doral, taking the time to listen so that every child - and every parent - leaves the visit feeling heard, comfortable, and confident.

Dr. Uriel took the time to actually explain things. We came in for a visit, and instead of rushing me through, he walked me through my options and made sure I understood the trade-offs before deciding anything.
If you’re looking for a doctor who listens and cares, I’d highly recommend.

The office is pristine and easily located right off the highway. The staff is so kind and patient. The doctor was thorough and listened to all of my concerns. he was so patient with my children and so helpful. The kids felt so comfortable and we are so grateful to have found a practice that validates parents and kids feelings.

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Uriel for my son’s yearly checkup and blood work results. Dr. Uriel took the time to thoroughly review all of his results with us and explain what everything meant, which gave us such peace of mind. What I appreciated most was how comfortable and relaxed my son felt throughout the entire visit. He wasn’t nervous or anxious like he has been at other doctor’s appointments. It’s so reassuring to have a pediatrician who is not only knowledgeable and thorough, but also makes children feel safe and comfortable. We are so grateful for the care he provides!

Dr. Uriel is an amazing pediatric. Been coming here for around 8 months. Our baby is 14 months old and he always ebds to him with amazing care. He takes his time with each patient and doesn’t rush you out the door. Always also to get a hold of him even after hours he’s available for phone consults and always gives great advice and always explains the illness that your child has. Very caring and highly recommend
