The new doctor is an amazing lady, but I think the patient should be informed of any changes of doctors before the appointment, or at least the app should mention that there might be other professionals seeing you at the appointment not necessarily dr Borges.

Had a test done in December ‘19, now it’s April ‘20 and I still haven’t gotten the results. Haven’t been able to see the doctor, doesn’t return calls. Have not been given results by the doctor yet but am receiving bills from the insurance company.

Arrived for a head cold that I couldn't shake and had for over 5 days. I thought it was best to be safe the sorry it could be something worse. The Doctor just told me there was nothing he could do, after waiting for 2 hours. If you had nothing to tell me couldn't you have done all that in 15-30 minutes? Complete waste of time

I will not be returning to this place. They were disorganized, crowded, and the environment was super hectic. The waiting area was packed with people, it's a hot and dark basement, and everyone there was miserable. They performed an EKG on me for no reason other than charging my inurance, and after waiting over an hour for my appointment I saw the doctor for 2 minutes. He seemed distracted, and frankly a little inappropriate.

Dr. Borges was very friendly and prompt with his examination, I felt like I had been there before even though it was my first time. Staff (PA, front desk etc.) were also very efficient. Waiting area is very nice and so is the rest of the facility.

I do not recommend this doctor at all. I had an appointment at 1 pm and I arrived a little early to fill out paper since it was the first time. They had me waiting for over an hour and mind you there were no other patients. I tell the receptionist im leaving that's when she tells me that they made a mistake and that I was checked off as seen by the doctor. If I hadn't tell them I was leaving I would not know that they allegedly made a mistake and I was waiting for nothing. Stay away from this doctor.

This has to be the worst medical practice in Astoria! Roly Borges is barely ever there, and has his physicians assistant literally do everything. The nurses aren't able to perform simple blood draws without causing a hemorrhage in the arm. On top of the terrible service, and bedside manner, you're going to have to wait an hour and thirty minutes just to see them.

que no volveria de nuevo la espera es muy larga sin haber pacientes en el lugar como el senor trabaja con botox y cosas esteticas le da prioridad a estas personas y te deja esperando por las ratos la verdad no volvere y ya cambie de doctor ademas las consultas son tan cortas que vez su afan por terminar contigo que no te provoca ni preguntar nada

Dr. Borges was excellent! He was very kind and did a good job. He was honest and personable. I had not been to a doctor in years so it somewhat surprised me that the assistant was there (both times I visited him). But maybe that is just standard for the medical profession. The wait time on my first visit was about 1.5 hours which was rather surprising as I figured I made it here on time, you should as well! The second time was much quicker though. Also the staff were nice (very busy) and they speak Spanish as that might be beneficial to you to know.

As usually, for the first time seeing a new patients, dr's gives all the time and attention, but as usual, they only care about the money on the following visits, and this Dr is one of them, he takes about 5 minutes the most to see you on the second visit and you do not even go to a room to be check, you just go to his office where he is in front of the computer and that's it. Not good

Dr. Borges Office is a very Professional well trained office, with an Office Staff who can help with many questions or concern a patient might have. Dr. Borges is friendly, listens wells and addresses your care as a Professional with a kind gentle approach and welcoming touch. I am very happy I found this Doctor after living in the area for more than 5 years and visiting other medical offices within Astoria. I have found my Doctor for as long as I remain in the area.
