Dr. Matlaga and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. One of the best interactions I’ve had with any medical office. I get very nervous when going to the doctor, and they completely understood and listened to my expectations and fears. They made me feel comfortable and answered my questions. Dr. Matlaga was very thorough and made me feel like I was a part of every decision. The staff, Missy and Elisha, were absolutely fantastic; they were friendly and made me feel completely at ease. If you are looking for a general physician, I highly recommend Dr. Matlaga!

I devoted myself to medicine to treat patients and rid them of disease in an informative and compassionate way. I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, after completing my Bachelor's degree at Villanova University. I completed both my internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Kennedy Memorial Hospitals-University Medical Center. My efforts include providing information sessions, medically overseeing sporting events, and spending time with the elderly. In my free time, I enjoy sports of all kinds, classic television shows, historic sites, and traveling.
