Dr. Ryan Ngo was very kind, patient, and saw me right away. My visit was quick and efficient but didn't feel rushed and I was in-and-out in no time with my glasses prescription in-hand. The check in staff was helpful and welcoming as well. He uses hand cues for those who may be hearing impaired. I recommend.

Office was very safe in the pandemic and social distancing, cleaning, and mask-wearing was observed. They had hand sanitizer available in the office waiting area.
Eye exam was straightforward and Dr. Ngo was friendly and helpful, and was happy to answer my questions. He said he will be moving to the West Coast in 5 weeks, but I would definitely recommend him to future patients!

I had a pleasant experience at Union Square Eye Med. The front office staff was very friendly and prompt. They were knowledgeable in directing me to the right department, and other insurance-related needs. Ryan has positive energy and a light about him that made the exam relaxing. He answered all my questions with no hesitation. I felt that he saw me as a person and not just a patient!

Came in for eye pain, scheduled appt for same day. Only had to wait 10 mins, if that. Dr. Ngo had a warm and kind approach, appt was fast but felt he was fully present entire time. He listened and seemed very knowledgeable and patient answering my questions. Left feeling very assured with his diagnosis and proposed treatment. Highly recommend.

I was there to get an eyeglass prescription and hoped that the optometrist would do it. Unfortunately, it was his assistant who gave me the prescription, not the doctor. I asked for the PD because there is subjectivity in the pupillary distance. The doctor asked me to ask the front desk. But the front desk said that they don’t ordinarily give the PD. But the optician can but the optician would come after 15 min. I left at that point.
