Patient reviews for Dr. Salil Gupta
The appointment with Dr. Gupta was great! I did not have to wait. The doctor is very eloquent, intelligent, and kind. I also needed an X-ray and it was done right away. I was in and out of the office in 30 minutes. I’d definitely recommend this doctor!
I am very satisfied with my visit.
Great doctor, friendly, and really polite and nice. His office is also great with nice support staff, helpful with x rays and wrist cast etc.
Dr. Gupta is the very best. He's very professional and has a great bedside manner. This is my second visit and if need be, I'll b going back.
GREAT!!!!!
Dr. Gupta was kind, helpful, and thorough. However, his office kept me waiting a very long time.
Dr. Gupta is amazing, very knowledgeable. They take x-rays in the office and he checks them on the spot. It's always a pleasure to meet him.
Long wait but the doctor was good
I definitely made a good choice to see Dr. Gupta. I came prepared to discuss my specific issues. We got right down to them, he was a really nice guy, very easy to talk to and I left with a complete diagnosis, a clear picture of what was (and wasn't) going on and all available treatment options. (There were more than I even knew about). Very happy I went and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
No problem with the Dr. but a wait of 95 mins wasn't cool.
He is a wonderful doctor knows what he talking about I recommend him 100%
My appt was in the afternoon - came in early because I knew there’d be paperwork. I waited 25-30 min (after my appt time) in the waiting room before being called back to an exam room, where I waited an additional 10-15 min. Dr. Gupta was super nice though, explained things thoroughly and was attentive to my concerns.
Excellent doctor! He really takes the time to explain things which is such a rarity in medicine today.
Dr. Gupta is great! He's super knowledgable and explains everything thoroughly. My first appointment was a late afternoon (my mistake) and I ended up being there a total of 3 hours. He is the only doctor serving his patients, and one emergency can throw off his entire schedule. I highly recommend getting one of the first few appointments of the day so there is little chance of having to wait. My last few appointments were the first of the day and I had no wait.
Trigger finger and drummer’s wrist.
No problems at all. There was no wait time; as soon as we finished our initial paperwork, the doctor was ready to see my wife. He identified the problem as tendinitis, but took an x-ray to be sure the bones were okay. He explained our treatment options patiently and clearly. I would recommend both Dr. Gupta and the office on University Place.
Really amazing doctor, very informative, took the time to listen to the issue and did a thorough examination. Also did not recommend any unnecessary tests or medications. Completely eased my mind and helped address the concerns in detail.
Took the time to discuss my issue and made himself available for my questions. Great bedside manner. I wish all doctors were like him!
Great doc. Comprehensive and clear. Office in Queens very long wait. Would visit other locations.
What a great experience. It seems sometimes that the busier the specialty, the worse the experience. Given that Orthopedists are generally in high demand I expected my concerns to be brushed off and for my doctor to skate to the next waiting appointment. I was pleasantly surprised, and utterly thrilled that this was not the case. Dr. Gupta was very thorough, explained carefully, and paused to address any potential questions or concerns.
Long wait, but great once I was seen
Dr Gupta’s knowledge and diagnostic approach is great. I appreciate his attention to detail and ability to clearly explain his findings in terms all can understand. I may have planned my own appointments too tightly on this day. Although I was seen and xrayed within an hour. But I had to run out the door. The Doctor and staff were very accommodating to my time constraints. In future I would have added another 30 min buffer to not be rushed. All in all a positive experience.
Everything is good with the employees and the Doctor, he is attentive, he explains everything very well. You just have to wait a bit, but it's worth waiting for it.
I love Dr. Gupta. He's thorough and kind. I like that he doesnt rush you to have injections or surgery. Today he recommended some natural remedies for my pain and inflammation, which I appreciated greatly.
Dr Gupta is amazing. Friendly, personable, thorough. But the wait time was 1 hour 45 mins before I was seen!
Dr. Gupta was extremely knowledgeable and gave me great advice. He understood my situation and talked through multiple options for my treatment. I trusted him and felt he was honest and helpful.
Excellent experience
Very knowledgeable and extremely patient in terms of answering any questions. Very thorough with check-up.
The doctor was excellent and the staff were all friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend them. However, the wait time was a bit ridiculous; I had a 9:30am appointment and the doctor came in at around 11:00am.
.S, Gupta is excellent doctor .uses knowledge experience in his practice,he is your best choice,
I have been visiting Dr Gupta for over 5 years and am always impressed by his thoroughness, friendly yet professional bedside manner and the way he explains information to you in a clear way.
I had to change my appointment because they were so behind. Next I had the first appointment of the day and everything went smoothly in this case. My issue was thoroughly and knowledgeable addressed (hand injury from dog leash pull).
Dr Gupta is extremely professional. He reviewed my medical chart, examined me and provided short and long term solutions that would definitely help my condition. I would recommend him highly!
We came in early for our appointment. They were behind 30 minutes so we have to wait. Doctor is thorough and clear. Explained everything and took his time.
Not that I go to the doctor that often, but this was probably the best doctor experience I've had in New York. Did a thorough diagnosis, explained the issue in detail as well as how to treat it, X-rays were done swiftly, and I have a follow-up scheduled for 6 weeks from now (which I may or may not need). Would definitely recommend.
Excellent. Dr. Gupta was very personable and listened to my concerns.
Dr. Gupta and his in-office OT, Leslie, are fantastic! The wait time, not so much...
Dr. Gupta was fantastic and professional. I would visit him again without hesitation for future orthopedic issues. I had a sports-related injury, and his attention to me as a patient stood out. He extensively explained the injury and next steps for treatment.
Extremely professional and caring doctor. Listens to me and gives me answers to my questions.
Excellent doctor, soft taking. Honestly very pleased to see this doctor, despite having waited more than an hour. The front desk lady is very efficient. Nice and comfortable waiting area.
Dr Gupta always treat me with respect, offer solutions and explains the condition of my injury... he’s a professional doctor and is very concerned about my treatment... only thing when his staff reach out to me they should have mentioned that . His office change from the 2 nd floor to the 1st floor at the queens location... otherwise, I have no other complaints.. excellent doctor to work with as a patient..
The environment was clean and organized. Dr Salil was responsive and knowledgeable... and took time to do x-rays to have a better understanding of my needs to provide suggestions and next steps.
He was very thorough, took the time to explain what was going on, how to fix it, and why it was necessary
Great Doctor who give his complete attention to the patient. The staff are professional and courteous.
Dr. Gupta is very thorough and pleasant. During one of my scheduled appointments however, I had to wait over an hour and a half past past my scheduled appointment time to see him.
Despite being busy, he took the time to listen when explaining the problem, instead of interrupting to diagnose without understanding as many others do. Because of this, I didn't mind the intermittent waiting, since I assume he was talking with other patients.
Very professional, good bedside manner, very informative. Thoroughly explained my situation and the likely steps to relief and repair of my shoulder.
Dr. Gupta was quick, answered my questions and provided a non-surgical solution to my problem. I was happy with the visit.
Great doctor but wait time is always very high.
Very professional and competent. Took care of my tennis elbow!
