About Dr. Salvatore Gaudino
Salvatore Gaudino, DPM is a highly experienced podiatrist serving the communities of Brooklyn, NY and New York, NY.
With more than 30 years of clinical experience, he is recognized for his comprehensive expertise in both medical and surgical care of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Gaudino earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1992 and completed extensive postgraduate training, including a primary-care podiatric residency followed by a surgical residency. Over the course of his career, he has provided advanced care across a wide spectrum of podiatric conditions, from common foot ailments to complex surgical and reconstructive needs.
He is board certified by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry in both Primary Care in Podiatric Medicine and in Foot & Ankle specialties. I wasn't given post-op instructions as to how to care for my corn removal. The doctor said I should be able to exercise the next day which is NOT doable from the size of the corn he removed. It was a lot more downtime than I anticipated and I wish the doctor had communicated this with me more clearly.

Dr Sal and Lisa are a great , friendly , patient , understanding and a one in a million outstanding team .

Do not think they appreciate new patients via this method. Did not use all tools available. Keep repeating same procedure as if not paying attention to the medical file or what was done prior. Promised different approaches never did them. Feel like being milked for procedures as opposed to any real help. Resulting in tremendous pain.

Straight to the point and quick. I went in with an ingrown nail. He numbed it and pulled it out. Process was great. A little pressure and out it came.

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr Gaudino when he took care of an ingrown toenail. He put my teenage son at ease prior to the procedure and his toe is now healing nicely. Combined with being seen right after check-in on a Saturday was also a big plus.

I went in because I hurt my little toe and have been hobbling in pain for a week and began to panic because I normally walk very fast and now I am unable to take even one step without immense pain. Josefina helped get me in to see Dr. Guadino right away and was so amazingly courteous getting me set up for the appointment as a new patient and helping me after the appointment with information on follow ups and X rays. Dr. Guadino was a life saver! He gave me injections to make the pain subside and fixed my dislocated toe! It was miraculous. Looking forward to my follow up appointment and I feel secure in the knowledge that I will be able to walk normally again with Dr. Guadino’s treatment.

Not great. He was very unprofessional and wasn’t really listening to what I had to say. Then he repeatedly pressed on the same spot on my foot until I was practically in tears. Then he did an X-ray and then pressed on the spot again until I told him to stop. He also strapped some machine to my foot for 15min but never explained what it was for and just left me sitting in the room.

Had a big toe nail that was coming out due to a subungral hematoma. Dr. Gaudino was able to take care of it within a half-hour, and was sensitive to the unpleasant nature of removing a nail when bandaging me up. Quick, efficient, and clear. Also gave clarifying instructions on how to care for my toe afterwards. I'd recommend him for any podiatry need.
