Not only does she actually listen to you, she CARES about what you're experiencing and actually wants to help effectively instead of just throwing a random SSRI at you and calling it good. Samantha works with individuals ages 5 and up. When you meet with Samantha, you'll feel welcomed in a warm, judgment-free environment that accepts all individuals for who they are. She empowers you as an active member of your treatment team. After a session with Samantha, you'll feel educated, acknowledged, and equipped with an understanding of how to get back to feeling your best self.
Samantha's patients can expect support in overcoming life struggles such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other mental illnesses. She uses active listening to identify her patients' biggest areas of concern and employs a variety of modalities, including CBT, person-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing. Through education, she helps patients make informed decisions about their treatment and ensures they are comfortable with their individualized plan of care.
Samantha graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Master's in Family Nursing and earned a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Western Kentucky University. She has experience working with people of all ages and is LGBTQ+ friendly.
