Dr. Sam was very kind and comforting. He patiently listened to my frenzied thoughts and was a very warm presence throughout the appointment. When I spoke about my studies and heritage, he seemed genuinely interested and supportive even though we had just met. An old friend shares Dr. Sam's heritage, and I never knew what their name meant until he translated it for me.
