As an expert in neuropsychological and psychiatric assessments, I am confident in my approach to treatment and helping you thrive. Often, patients go through a revolving door of mental health professionals, but not getting better. It is because you cannot treat what you do not understand. My evaluation clarifies the problems (depression, anxiety, ADHD, Learning issues), and outlines a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
If you suspect that you or your child has a learning disability, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD/ADHD), Autism/Asperger's/PDD or other difficulties, there are several treatment options ranging from extended time on tests to specific strategies to learn and cope. Only a full assessment can provide a clear diagnosis, if any
Ages 0-5: Assessments for special education services and admission to specialized schools. I diagnose developmental delays, Autism, learning and speech problems and behavioral issues.
Ages 5-18: Testing involves IQ and academic testing, supplemental testing as needed, as well as behavioral management. I also perform forensic child custody evaluations
Adults: I evaluate for accommodations on the SATs, LSATs, MCATs, state licensing exams (medicine, Bar exam, etc)for extended time, separate location, etc. We do fitness for duty evaluations, work and disability assessments as well as for life stressors, psychiatric problems and forensic and legal reasons, such as child custody.

My experiences with Comprehensive Consultation were awful. The doctors who performed my evaluation were incredibly dismissive and remarkably poor listeners. They did not listen to, trust, or take into account my self reported symptoms and experiences. They declined to correct inaccuracies in my report (which took over 4 months to complete and was late). Everything in the evaluation seemed very targeted towards children and I question their qualifications to assess adults. They refused to answer basic questions. Also, the office staff was very disorganized, making last minute changes to my appointment time and inaccurate insurance estimates.
I highly recommend avoiding this practice especially if you are a person with any marginalized identities. They will not listen to you. They will charge you more than they quote you. You will likely not receive an accurate report. It’s a hugely expensive waste of time. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

Amazing Dr. it was so easy to talk with her, she made me feel very comfortable. She asked the right questions to have a good idea of my situation. The office staff was great too, they called me a few times before the meeting and they were always super nice and accommodating. I'm happy I found the Dr and that she takes my insurance.

I would like my review to reflect the doctor, rather than insurance practices and nonsense that takes away from the information people read reviews for. I had an incredible experience with Dr. Hafeez and her center. Firstly, they take insurance which is unheard of for assessments. The process was thorough and the office advised me of all my financial obligations up front. Dr. Hafeez was warm, incredibly informative and insightful and not only gave me techniques during our session, but showed me the testing I will have, which is very expensive without insurance. I left with a lot of clarity about the problems that have plagued me since childhood and there is finally light at the end of the tunnel.

Dr. Hafeez was wholly unclear about the fact that she was peddling a evaluation, and not offering therapy (as was presented via ZocDoc). It was only at the every end of our appointment that she attempted to sell me on a "very expensive" measure of evaluation, waiting until after I had shared intimate, deeply vulnerable details about my life to inform me that she is "not a therapist," and instead was hoping to sell said evaluation, ultimately prescribing a mode of treatment with an alternate therapist. I was so thrown off in the moment, having shared a comprehensive run down of my most personal details, I could only nod and leave. Only after returning home did it really hit me: This is a deeply unethical practice that preys upon people who are seeking help.

The moment I showed up as a new client, I was immediately told that my appointment was canceled. Imagine my confusion because I had never canceled my appointment. Dr. Hafeez proceeded to act like I was "lucky" that she had made time to see me "last minute". This can't be real. You practically studied psychology and immediately you talk down and automatically want to run test on a person. Why? To milk more money? Where is the help, how is she still in practice? You go in calm and ready to talk, she pretends like she cares and is on your side, and next thing you know you're struggling just to make it home after the session because as soon as you answer her questions, she turns your words and uses them against you to blame you for the problems you're seeking help for in the first place. Anyone who sees this quack hasn't even got a fighting chance going in, she thinks she's got you figured out before you even take a seat.

I took my son in to meet the Dr in NYC (she was pleasant and seemed capable), she recommended a full evaluation at her office in Forrest Hills - I went as soon as I can get an appointment - my son was there for 3 hours with another person (I guess her staff) - we completed all the forms (me and his 2 teachers) within the week - it took over 2 months to get our report and the report repeated what was stated in the questionnaire, it references 2 other names (not my son), discussed issues he has with his brother (he is an only child) - it seems they used a template and it was never quality checked - so I do not trust the results of the evaluation - I plan to discuss with the Dr.

I was nervous about my appointment with Dr. Hafeez because I had originally been scheduled to see another doctor. She was so warm, a great listener, respected my concerns. My appointment with her has earnestly changed my experience completely with the psychology world. She is a doctor that actually cares and I fully recommend her. Believe the ZocDoc'ers saying this is a scam. She charged my insurance twice, for one visit. Called another patient during my visit and used their name and talked about their condition, and belittled my life circumstances. Horrible experience, and the "office" is extremely sketchy looked. Run and never look back.

Pretty sure this is a scam job. Saw her in February for an initial visit. She listened to me for about 30 mins or so and acted like she was writing stuff down. I was told I needed a second appointment for an evaluation but this would be at a location in Queens, I did this. They sat me down asked me some questions and then had me fill out several multiple choice questions on paper. This took about 20 mins. They sent me on my way and tell me I will receive a follow up in a few weeks. ..
Fast forward months later. I have not received any information. No call, no email, no letter. I call them. They put me on hold for a few mins and then finally someone let's me know that they are running behind and that I should receive an email in a few weeks. If you have made it this far reading this then I probably don'the have to repeat what this whole ordeal is really about: A SCAM.
