I believe your emotions (or lack thereof) can communicate powerful information about your life. Excitement can indicate an area where you feel engaged and motivated, whereas apathy can signal a part of your life that no longer brings you joy. When you avoid negative feelings because they are uncomfortable, you slowly lose touch with your authentic self and can feel stuck, overwhelmed, or lost. Therapy is not a bandaid for discomfort-bandaids fall off, and then you need more. Rather, therapy provides a lens to understand what the discomfort is communicating about your life so you can create meaningful change. I collaborate with you to explore the meaning of your emotions, identify areas of stagnation, and develop a plan for living more authentically. Together, we will create a metaphorical roadmap for navigating your internal and external world that will last long after therapy is complete. I hold a PsyD and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Widener University and completed a fellowship at Brooklyn Minds Psychiatry, which have equipped me with the skills to support you on this journey.
