“The doctor is very kind and patient. His manner makes you comfortable to discuss any personal matter. Dr Parikh's sign up desk staff were very kind and friendly. My overall experience was good except for the waiting. Also google gps stops you at a library but u have to use the extrance at the left side of the library and walk all the way to the back. finding the office was a little struggle.”

“The overall doctor office visit experience was pretty good. I checked-in by one of the front-end staff who asked me for my insurance card & photo ID. The negative part was that I had to fill out all of the registration & personal health consent forms that was not unsuccessfully transferred from Zocdoc. Their office is not equipped to retrieve the consent & registration forms online from Zocdoc. Please be mindful & prepared for your first-time visit at this doctor's office to fill out numerous medial health consent forms. The attending nurse was very helpful & informative. The Colonrectal Doctor Dr.Parikh was attentive & knowledgeable in our meeting together. ”

About Dr. Sandip Parikh
Dr. Sandip Parikh is a highly skilled, board certified surgeon with over twenty five years of
experience. His specialties include general, breast and colorectal surgery.
He has vast experience and treats a myriad of conditions including, but not limited to complex
breast and colorectal abnormalities.
Dr. Parikh is well versed with the latest surgery guidelines and modalities. He uses the best
imaging and diagnostic techniques to provide premier personalized care.
Prior to his career at New York Health, Dr. Parikh held the esteemed position of Chief of
Surgery at Advantage Care Physicians, one of the largest multi-specialty groups in the greater
New York metro area. He was also the Director of Surgery at Queens Surgical Center.
A well respected physician in the community, Dr. Parikh’s stellar credentials include a medical
degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and
residency in general surgery at Northwell Long Island Jewish Medical Center and his colorectal
surgery fellowship at Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s- Roosevelt Hospital Center.
Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Hofstra Northwell School of
Medicine and the Medical Director of Corona Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

Island Jewish-Forest Hills and Northwell University Hospital in Manhasset, NY.

My only complaint was that finding the office is hard. Then the wait inside the examination room felt like it took forever for a 2 minute exam. But I was greeted and triaged immediately.

Completely disgusting experience. I came once, doctor wasn’t there. Over 5 people in office waiting, so I rescheduled for the following week. Same thing. Doctor strolls in after 11AM, with an office full of waiting patients. I hear 2 other people say they have an 11AM, which is also my time. Staff is rude and incompetent, they’d rather discuss furniture and weekend plans, rather than tend to patients. Terrible, disgusting, unprofessional ‘facility’.
