Dr. Bakshi is triple board certified and fellowship trained in pain management at John Hopkins Hospital-consistently ranked as the number one hospital in the country. Following his fellowship he was an attending physician at John Hopkins, where he was actively involved in teaching the residents and fellows. He is currently an attending physician in the department of Pain Management and Palliative Care at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan. He is board certified in Anesthesiology, as well as board certified in Pain Management by both the American Board of Anesthesiology, as well as the American Board of Pain Medicine. During his residency he received the Dripps award for the outstanding anesthesia resident. Dr. Bakshi’s area of expertise is primarily in minimally invasive therapies for the treatment of pain of spinal origin-neck and back pain.
