“Dr Bindel is concerned about your health and well being. He takes the time to listen and explain your issues clearly. He works with you to find a treatment to manage your high blood pressure and a big concern for me my weight. He has pellets for those interested in hormone replacement therapy and his office also accepts CHAMPVA another plus since my previous doctor no longer accepts it. Looking for a GOOD doctor takes time. Glad I found him.”

About Dr. Sapan Bindal

Dr. Sapan Bindal is a board-certified Family physician who trained at one of the top 10 programs in the northeast US. He earned his medical degree (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Hunterdon Medical Center. He currently lives in Mansfield, close to the clinic, with his lovely wife, two kids, and a dog.
He is extensively trained in inpatient and outpatient medicine, population health, preventive care, and integrative medicine. He has significant experience providing urgent care, hormone treatment including bioidentical hormone therapy, medical weight loss, and more.

My Experience:
The nurse who I saw was the absolute best!She has a wonderful personality, shes an amazing doctor! Im so glade I had a chance to get more information and questions answered! I belive her came was Nurse Capler!
But from start to finish, every part of my appointment as a new patient was amazing! From the receptionist to the examination, everyone of the ladies, smiled, was friendly, great at communicating, knowledgeable and bed side manner were amazing!
They made my first time, a memorable one! I CANT wait til my next appointment! You can tell when people are faking genuineness but here EVERY PERSON I've encountered is TRUE! I would 1000% recommend this office! And even though it was an early morning appointment, everyone was alert, full of energy and ready to help! Their instructions were very clear and coming from someone who hasn't been to the doctor in a VERY long time, im very glad I made this office my office, Dr. Bindal and Nurse Capler my primary care for life!

I have visited this office about 5 or 6 times. When I try to speak he puts his hand up at me and says "now let me finish". He tries to leave the room onto his next paying customer while you are still talking. Today when he was doing it I finally broke down and cried and said I feel like no one is helping me, and no one cares. Soon as I start crying he stands up abruptly and tells me that me and him are not a "good fit" and that I needed to get a new Dr. Also told me he would not refill my insulin. Im diabetic, I could die or go into a coma without it. Him and the lady typing on the computer left while I was crying in the room by myself. I got up and left after that. I have never ever experienced someone so COLD HEARTED before in my life. Also he never touched on the fact that he sent me to a specialist that diagnosed me type 2 when he had just diagnosed me as a type 1 a couple months ago. (Trimmed my real review down because of the 1000 character limit).

First time there and all the staff is friendly and very direct as well. The doctor is transparent and asks you directly what he needs to know. I am very happy I picked this place, the doctor is very knowledgeable and I know I will be heard and taken care of.

I came in for an annual Pap smear. My PCP, a PA who is a male, doesn’t perform Pap smears. The female PA wasn’t available for another two months. I am glad it worked out because my appt. with Dr. Bindal was probably the best Pap smear I have had. He did something super kind that no other MD/OBGYN/PA has ever done. With that kindness I would gladly switch over to him as my primary PCP. Personally, I prefer a male real medical doctor versus a physician assistant, for my own personal experience male doctors are very good at handling business and running a business more smooth and efficient. I know a lot of women prefer a female instead of a a male for a Pap smear but I’m the office and prefer a male over a female any day. I don’t want another woman looking at my area to me. That’s more awkward than having a male perform an examination, everyone is different though I would highly recommend him and also go back for sure!

My experience this time around was personally not good. Maybe because I couldn’t afford my late fees or copay but I didn’t see or speak with the physician, just the nurse practitioner. My feelings and concerns weren’t really heard or received.

Oh my gosh, the lady that did the blood drawing it was so amazing the two ladies at the front desk were just great. I really enjoyed the doctor. He listened. He was very informative. He got me started on meds today due to the fact that I was more worried about my blood pressure then anything overall the visit was amazing. Will definitely be going back.

Dr was not very helpful. Interrupted me multiple times during my explanation of my symptoms and didn't seem to care at all. Instead of giving me any options, he just said he'd refer me to a pain clinic and left the room. I never received a call from a clinic and any time I called the front desk took a message but would never call me back. Seeing him was an absolute waste of my money and time. He didn't care about my problems and couldn't get out the door quick enough.

I walked in on the off chance to see if I could speak to a doctor. The receptionist was very helpful, polite. The clinic is very fresh, clean. On filling in forms, as im from the UK, the receptionist was extremely helpful as I forgot my glasses. The only shock for me as no health insurance at the moment was the fee, but it's too be expected.
