Sarah C. Hessler, M.D., is a Reproductive Endocrinologist and infertility specialist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center. Dr. Hessler received her undergraduate degree in Biology and earned her Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where she also completed her residency and fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She completed her internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School.

Dr. Hessler has received many honors throughout her academic career, including the

• 2011 UMDNJ-NJMS Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology Chairman’s Award
She is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Her ongoing research includes the “Effects of Relaxin on Fibulin 5 Protein in Human Lower Uterine Segment Cells” and “Myometrial Artery Calcifications Increase with Age.”
